If only the door handle is broken, it can easily be replaced on MOST microwave ovens by removing the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. The following link explains how to access and replace the door handle:
The average cost for a replacement handle usually runs about $20 - $40. Replacements may be purchased at the websites listed in the link I provided.
The door handle on this model has two parts (items 3 and 8). Depending on what is broken, you may only need to order one or the other. Both parts, combined, is still only about $20. The part numbers are WB15X10119 and WB15X10120, respectively.
The door handle is a simple repair that can be done with the door in place, or with the door removed. You do not have to uninstall the oven if this is an over the range model.
NOTE: If you wish to remove the door, all you need to do on most models is open the door all the way and lift straight up at the hinges.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
You need to open the door to remove the handle, ask a locksmith to open it with a 'slim jim' then once it is open you can remove the broken handle assembly.
Once removed you can see what you need to replace.
You have to pull the interior door panel off, remove the two fastners that hold the exterior handle on....disconnect the two plastic clips for the lock rod....reinstall in reverse order.....have some metric sockets on hand and an extension.
first remove the door panel after you have completed that remove the 3 bolts holding the handle in place, pull the handle out on the reverse side there will be a connecting rod with a retainer clip holding the rod to the door handle remove the retainer clip and rod and remove the broken handle follow instructions in reverse to reinstall new handle
I agree read "broken door catch" solution and be particularly careful in respect of the edges of the stailess steel panels - some of the edges are hidden and they are very sharp.
