Why do dvd's skip and sound doesn't always work on my Sony RDR-VXD655?

I have a Sony RDR-VXD655 and DVD often skip and the sound on the VHS side don't always work.

Well thevskipping part is the quality of your player, and the sound is often when somebody doesn't know how to convert stuff.

If the VHS player has a scart socket you can connect it to the Sony using one of these converting connects.

After converting a VHS tape and buringing it to DVD on my RDR-VXD655, no one can view the DVD on any other player. The DVD will only play on the RDR-VXD655. Help...

Have you finalised the DVD? It won't work on others till you do.

Same speed U bought 1-4x 1-8x 1-16x make sure have same speed disc.
