S/PDIF not working
Hey hoof
My only experience with faint sounds is when ground wires in the particular circuitry are not property connected. That means tracking the wires from the one end to the other if you can get to them. If they are not embended in a casing or housing I would change them.
Also, try changing the RCA plugs; even their connection can cause the sound shorting if there is a short.
Well....hoof... well,,,,good luck buddy.
My M-audio FireWire 410 doesn't work
It sounds like you may be experiencing a configuration issue with your M-Audio FireWire 410 audio interface. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the connections: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is securely connected to your computer and that all cables are properly plugged in. If the connections are loose or faulty, it can cause problems with the audio output.
- Restart the device: Sometimes, restarting the audio interface can resolve issues with the audio output. To do this, disconnect the FireWire 410 from your computer, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
- Update the drivers: It is possible that the drivers for your FireWire 410 may be out of date or incompatible with your operating system. To update the drivers, visit the M-Audio website and download the latest drivers for your device. Once the drivers are installed, restart your computer and try using the FireWire 410 again.
- Check the settings: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is selected as the default audio device in your operating system's audio settings. You can access these settings by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound. Under the Playback and Recording tabs, select the FireWire 410 and click the Set Default button.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is best to contact M-Audio support for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with specific guidance for troubleshooting the problem with your FireWire 410.
