Most likley problem is the door is not closing properly or the door latch switch is faulty. This means the dishwasher controller is not getting the right signal before commencing the wash cycle.
Need to check the closure of the latch. If this is ok then replace the door switch.

SOURCE: LG LD-14AW2 (03 error)

agreed O3 is not a LG error code. OE is more likely and if so it could be the main pcb faulty, a blocked drain pump or a blocked spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects onto.

take care.

IE is inlet error, displayed when "Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply"

Possible cause:

  • The Water Supply Tap is closed.
  • The Water Supply is shut off.
  • The Inlet Hose is kinked.
  • The Water Pressure is very low.(below 10 psi)
  • Inlet Valve is OK?
  • The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water.
  • The Hall sensor is OK?
  • The Impeller of Air Guide is bound.
Remedy:

  • Take action on Water Supply device.
  • Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 )
  • Clean the filter of Inlet Valve.
  • Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode.
  • Replace the Air Braker.

Every time I went to start the dishwasher it went "Ding Ding". I could press every button, turn it on and off OK, change cycles etc. I guessed the sound maybe because it thought the door was open, so set to work pulling it apart. This is how I fixed it.

Make sure you do most of this with the power off - there is probably mains voltage inside!

After pulling off the the cover of the door (with the door open, undo about a dozen screws), the front will fall off if you don't hold on to it, and the door swing closed, so be careful. When it has detached, move the metal part aside, and place the "brains" (circuit board etc) on to a chair or similar so the wires don't stretch.

A quick way to see if you have the problem is the same as mine is to remove the orange cable from the PCB as per below:
5ed7133.jpg

Turn the power back on, and press the power button, then the play button, things will hopefully work. If they do, turn it off right away and continue as per below to fix. If you are not worried about the safety mechanism - you could just leave it off and put things back together. However if you forget I think the entire kitchen could get very wet!

Reconnect the orange cable, and start by removing the handle. You will need to disconnect the cable block going in to the back of the handle mechanism, and remove the 3 screws as shown:
a89a7ae.jpg

Once you have the handle off, remove the metal cover. I found I had to slide it down at an angle and back, ie:
e4825a2.jpg

With that off, you should then be able to carefully edge out the reed switch - this is the source of the problem. In the image below the arrow point to TWO hooks that need to be released as you slide it out. I found that the hooks got stuck on the seam as well, so go slowly.

Once you have the reed switch out, you can see if the local electronics shop has one the same (probably the best long term fix), or if you pry it apart, I lightly scraped the contacts inside it:
15b9270.jpg

Once this was done, I could put the handle back together and test (I tested before putting the whole front back on). With a screw driver you can put the mechanism back to "close" the door, and things should hopefully work. Or to "open" the door, pull the handle, and use the screw driver to pull it the rest of the way, ie:

Once you are happy it is all working, put everything back together and things should hopefully be away!

LG Dishwasher

Had a similiar problem I tried reducing water pressure from water inlet (external to dishwasher) and this worked to a certain degree, although may result in being unable to fill, if you turn down too far. Water silencer (try plumbing stores) was fitted between mains and dishwasher and this fixed the problem.<!-- from fixya rte -->
