Sometimes there are problems with unreliable/underpowered usb ports. To start with, make sure you are plugging directly into the computer usb port, not into a usb hub. Try a different usb port. If you are using a laptop, make sure it is running on AC power and not just battery power alone. That's the first step to troubleshoot... If it doesn't work, post more info regarding your computer type and operating system.

When i connect my can to pc i can't see any thing. just oppen the window blank

Connecting Everio to PC behaves like as you are connecting an external HDD to your PC. You can just transfer files from you Everio(SD Video folder for videos,DCIM for photos) files with extension .TOD or .MOD sometimes can't be open depending on you pc.Just rename those to .mpg(note; make a back up since this process is ereversible). If you did installed the application software provided, wait for a while after connecting, and it will pop up, ready to use. Note: some everio models will promt you what to do after connecting, just click the desired option. Good Luck

JVC GZ-MG275AA Everio Camcorder

Problem solved. I was thinking I could delete from the PowerCinema NE for Everio software program that comes with the camera but that is not the case, so it was just a matter of finding where all the video files were stored on the computer itself, ie, "myworks, Everio backup", and delete from there.

Everio gz-mg130 won't work with vista

It is easier to connect your camcorder through the included "PowerCinema NE for Everio". First (since you're running Vista), you have to download a patch. Here is the address: http://www2.cli.co.jp/products/ne/update_everioM7SD/pcm4e_update.htm
Note: Only after you have installed PowerCinema NE for Everio can you install the patch. After you have installed the patch, just connect your MG130 to your computer through the included USB cable. Then the software should run automatically.
Hope this Helps

"No Everio connected to PC"

Under Windows XP, be sure you have upgraded to SP3. Then with the camera connected and Backup selected go into device manager t5hen disk drive. Find the drive, mine had two, uninstall them. Then turn off camera. Restart camera and select backup on the camera screen and let windows reinstall it. Should work fine. It did for me anyway.
