I dont have satelite or cable how do i get tv channels?

for Ilo TV are (042,051,053,155, 189,198). Use the codes under funai-it's the same company. It works on mine. CODE 189

the only setting that can cuase something like this is sap which is controlled through the setup or menu option on the remote or tv. their might be a mts button on your remote.hope i was some help

most universal remotes will only do basic functions on your tv like changing volume or channels only some will do menu functions or change input source. if you have a universal remote with a input or source button you can try it some cable and satelite remotes have this function and are discribed in the user manoal. If all else fails you can order a original remote from the manufacture or your local tv repair shop

I Believe You Can Go To Channel 2 And Right Below Those Channels Are The 3 Video Channels Turn On Your Dvd Player And Go Through Them. If That Doesn't Work Try Looking At The Buttons On Your Tv For A Tv Video. Make Sure You Dont Have A Tv Video Button On Your Remote If You Do Then Just Click It Till You Find The Appropriate Video Channel.

Check the menu and check to see if it's setup for cable and not antenna. Also see if there is an auto program function in the menu.

you are not specific as to programming cable or satellite .if you have cable tv with a cable box there is no need to program tv channels.the tv should be left on channel 3.check the back of the cable box & tv it may also be connected thru rca/s-video or componant cables meaning the tv should be on a line in/source ,or video input. for a tv without a cable box
you can do the auto or manual programming. no need to be on channel 3. if you have satelllite tv you need the box to hook up to your tv.you cannot bypass this box unlike cable tv.also check the back of the box for the other possible connections

Is the TV losing power to it when you shut it off? This would be the only way that I can see it forgetting channel memory when off.
