Water presure or clogged up.

I've had my Barista Express for three years, and changed the water filter three times. Two days ago, it seems it pumps water in when I turn it on, but it does not release water through the group. I took the filter out and the inside of the group (the mesh part) apart. It sounds really clogged up, and lost all presure. What else can I try?

I don't have the same brand, but I had a similar problem. These machines depend on generating high pressure (bar) and clogging is a problem. One source of clog is calcium and minerals in the water. Even though you have and change the water filter, there will still be minerals in the water and it can result in clogging.
You should use a decalcifier periodically but for the problem you are having now, you most likely need to take the head apart and clean the mesh and parts. Make sure light comes through all the holes. Don't enlarge the holes. Just clear them. That is what did it for my unit. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: grinder jam on breville barista express

Only way to know for sure is by taking it completely apart and expose all the internal parts
Popping is not a good sign If it is electrical arcing you are playing with fire
or electrocution
If you are mechanically inclined they are not that hard to take apart as long as they have no security screws on it and you have to remember you might be voiding your warranty
But it is fun taking things apart No?

SOURCE: Pump Problem

Our lucky fix for this identical Christmas day problem was to put the reservoir in place about half full of water, then to reach down in it and pull the plunger up to open it. We had the machine running at the time, but that may not be necessary. regards, Gene

Breville barista express pump won't stop? How to fix

Things you might try but turn it off before attempting repair.:

Check the flow meter and sensor: Open the machine and locate the flow meter and the sensor. Unplug the sensor and check the cables for any loose or rusty connections. Clean the connector and plug it back in.

Replace the flow meter and sensor: If the problem persists after checking and cleaning the connections, consider replacing the flow meter and the sensor.

Use manual or program mode: As an alternative, you can use the manual or program mode to control the water volume.

Kenmore elite front load washer won't pump out water. cleaned pump filter but didn't help. pump makes noise but doesn't pump any water.

If you’ve already cleaned pump and there were no obstructions, most likely the pump has failed.

\i just got a Canature water softener and ionizer installed, every time it cycles water gets into my water lines and spurts out for about 15 minutes, pipes shake

sounds like a mix of things

if you have pipes not locked tight
and 1ft = 1 clamp spaces

also check any 'gate' type valves are all fully open
use a presure 'keep' valve regulator to turn down the water presure
to 1.5 - 2 bar {60psi}
if you half close a gate valve
then the whole intake can vibrate and sing
even how much you try to wedge the pips

its the gate valves cause issue
in cold water then it uses presure joints and presure makes the seal
but gate valves will bring like the read in a woodwind instrument like a claronete

so your pipes will sing

check all the filters intake valves at the machine filters
and your gate valves on your water supply to the machines hozes

Lazy spa pump has e02 code

If this is an outdoor spa near trees, its almost a guarantee that the impeller is blocked with debris (pine needles can cause this in a hurry)

If the impeller is clean of debris and this is still happening, replace you pressure/flow switch.

You could have a seized water pump if you haven't been descaling regularly. Take the pump out and disassemble, clean, reassemble. Work carefully as there are several small parts.

Hayward Perflex EC-75. The DE is gumming up after about 1 week all up in the fingers. Keep taking the filter apart and washing it down then replace the DE but only getting one week out of the new...

I maintain three commercial pools ... one a hot tub. We replaced the DE with sand filters this spring. The last year of DE - even with insisting the patrons shower first, we only got one week out of the DE ... and we were dumping the water also. Suntan oil, body oils ... it was a mess. The water was sparlking for 6 of the 7 days ... The only way to keep it that way was dump the water and change the DE.

Maybe your filter is not big enough. Had you given the gallons or the size of your pool, I would have calculated the filter area for you. If you can post it and if FixYa, notifies me, I would be glad to do the calculation.

It won't start, Seems to be a fuel problem, Had yhe fuel pump change a year ago.

It may just be a plugged fuel filter. I also recommend checking fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

Pump goes on and off

Does the pump have thermall protection? It sounds like its getting hot and tripping the thermal protection switch in the pump windings.
