I have a LCD tv, had it for about a year. It is a Samsung model tv. LN - T405HA. The problem is it won't turn on. It will just keep repeatedly clicking like its going to turn on but it doesn't. It has been clicking for over a hour. Do I need to call someone to service the tv? I tried looking around the Samsung website for help. Emailed them three days ago. The tv was still half way working then, but now, it has kicked the bucket. Won't even turn on.

Samsung LCD TV reboots repeatedly

Hi Bryan,
These models are notorious for failing electrolytic capacitors in their Power Supplies, get the part number from the Power Supply Board and google it with +repair kits, there are many different kits available to tackle differing symptoms.Heres a massive 17 capacitor kit on Anazon: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN-T4665F-Monitor-Capacitors-IP-301135A/dp/B00LU4UMW6

52 inch hdtv lcd tv LN-T5271F problem turning on

You TV need some capacitors changed on the power supply. I have a tutorial on this repair published in my Tips & Tricks. You can save about $170 by doing this yourself, it's fairly simple if you can use a screw driver and a soldering iron. I hope this was helpful.

TV screen went blank and it began clicking, turning itself on/off repeatedly. Had to unplug from wall to make it stop. TV is only 2 years old and has worked perfectly until now.

the power supply board has failed. call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center. power supplies are usually $125.00 plus labor, 1 hour maximum to repair.
