PC RUN NO SCREEN NOT RUN PROBLEM - Compaq Presario 5000 PC Desktop

That could be from various issues, but when does it happen and can you see what it says on that blue screen?

after typing your password and once the screen goes black again press [ctrl+shift+esc] this will open task manager

then click file > new task (run)
and run explorer.exe.

your desktop should open up

first download application and save it somewhere. then run it. dont click on download and say open. also check compatibility of program you are downloading.

Try to click simultaenously ctrl+alt-del a window task manager will pop up, click file> new task (Run...)
type explorer and press enter, see if it shows your desktop.

After that go to start>run and type msconfig go to boot.ini and uncheck the safeboot if it is ticked. then restart your PC, hope this helps.

just reinsert your RAM; it will work.

press down the FN button and press the negative sign on the numpad..if still it doesnt work then run a diagnostic on the screen,resrt and press F12,,u will see a diagnostic option,,run it,,and after tat it will take 20-30min..also plz contact the technical support for replacement as the screen is costly enough..best of luck

Reboot your PC! When the pc starts booting up push F8 it will take you to the same screen asking you if you want to run the pc in safe mode! What you want to do is to select the Start PC in VGA mode! It should set your video card to a default setting allowing it to work with the TV!
