Do you mean photo albums? To do this I would just attach the phone to your laptop or computer using the USB cable, mount the SD card by clicking mount when the phone notifies you, and then create the albums as files on the SD card. Then you can copy and paste any pictures into any album you want, and afterwards unplug the phone. I don't think there's any way to create photo albums actually using the phone though.

How to create an album

To create an album, first open up the photos application. It will take you to a page called "albums" (If you're not on albums, select albums at the bottom of the app).
Once you're on the albums page, click the edit button at the top right of the screen. Then, click add on the top left. You can name the album, and then add photos to the album.

How to put music on my G1

Make sure you are in the home screen of your G1

Connect it to the USB cable

On the upper left corner of your g1 screen you will see a sub icon and the words "USB Connected"

Press the "Menu" button

Select "Notifications"

You will see "USB Connected". Select to copy files from/to your computer.

You will be given two options:"Mount" and "Don't Mount", choose "Mount"

Your G1 should now show up on your computer.

There will be three folders: "Album Thumbs", "DCIM" (for pictures), and Music.

Now just transfer what you want to the G1.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Get album art on g1

To do this you're going to have to re-copy all of the music you want album art for to your G1! Sorry! But here goes...
Firstly, the reason the album art isn't there is because it wasn't bought online, therefore the album art may not be encoded onto the songs. However it's not that hard to encode art yourself on Windows Media Player.
You have to look for the album art online, and save it on your computer. Then, find the songs you want on Windows Media Player (if they are from the same album then ctrl+click them all) then right click. On the right-click menu there should be an option called Advanced Tag Editor. Click that, then the Pictures Tab, and click Add. Then find your album art and select Cover (Front) from the Picture Type drop down menu. Hopefully that will encode your songs with the album art, then you can sync them with WMP or copy and paste them as normal.

How do you download photos from G1 to laptop?

Step 1: Plug in your USB cable to your G1 T-mobile phone as well as the computer.
Step 2: On your G1 T-mobile phone you will see a small icon at the top of the screen that symbols the USB.
Step 3: Pull down the notification window down and click on USB Connection.
Step 4: Automatically on your laptop computer or just computer a window will pop up giving you the option of importing pictures and copying them or just viewing them.

These steps are the correct steps.....T-mobile G1 technical support has not yet modify these steps or include them on the T-mobile G1 manual.

Pics being sent to me are going to album on G1

Check with G1 support at T-Mobile to see if the receivers information is being blocked from your service. They should be able to fix it on their end.

On my sony dsc-g1 camera when i turn it on it has a saying across the viewing screen that says album data error and i need to know how to get that off.

This worked for me on my Sony Cyber Shot dsc-g1. I would suggest connecting your camera to your PC and downloading your photos first. They are still on your camera - even if you can't view the album.

1. Press the HOME button and select Media Tools from the menu.

2. Select General -> Check Album

3. Select OK in the Check Album menu.

4. The Recovery data... message will be displayed.

Note: Depending on the circumstances, restoring the album data may or may not be possible .

5. Once the recovery process is completed. The menu will return to Check Album.

6. Turn the camera power off and then turn it on again. If the error message still persists, please approach the local service center for assistance.
