Gently hit the camera on the side by the battery case this may resolve the problem. If not then it will have to go in for repair.

You're better off buying a card reader instead, if your computer doesn't already have one. It's likely to be faster and easier, and you can continue to use it if you get a new camera.

The camera may display a FORMAT ERROR if the inserted media is not formatted or if the media was formatted ona Computer. This error may also display if the inserted media is notsupported by the camera.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Press MENU, select the toolbox-1 icon, then select the "A" icon.

To reset to default setting--Go to setting-main setting-select initialization-ok

It might be due to a bad contact of the placed memorycard.

1. Pull the memorycard out and in the camera several times and retry.
2. If not OK, format the card in the camera. If that does not work, format it in the computer.
3. Try another memorycard and recheck.

The optimum solution for you would be to replace the battery. As far as the battery is not popping up with ease, after taking it out take a look at the small push up areas and see whether they are working fine i.e. the elastic spring underneath them are working fine and they are coming back and forth when being pushed down.

Try removing and inserting the battery again. But make sure the metal ends has contact. Also check the cover of the battery. Make sure that it is closed tightly. Try applying a little force on the cover by pushing it in and turn your camera on again.

Battery could also be the problem. I know you said it is full charged, but did it charge the same time as before? I mean did it get fully charged in just a few minutes when it should be longer that?

If battery is ok, it could also be the digital cameras main board. If that will be the case, then it is better to buy a new digital camera. They are much cheaper now and much better.

Check and make sure that the mode switch is not stuck due to the dust particles. Clean the surroundings of the mode switch and check if it works. If the switch is moving and the mode is not changing then the issue may be with the mode switch of the Camera and requires replacement. Make sure that the switch is not locked. If the switch is not moving with a slight pressure, then I suggest that you get the Camera serviced with the help of a service technician.

You should be able to plug in the USB cord that came with the camera. Connect the one end to the camera then the other end to a USB wall charger or your computer. If you no longer have the USB cable, you can purchase one here from Amazon.

Video Slideshows comes in different formats. There are movie formats (avi, mov, flv, mpg, etc), flash formats (swf, swif, etc.), etc. Since you have mentioned loading or uploading to youtube website, you have to create a Youtube account first, that is if you don't have one. If you have a Gmail account, this is enough for you to use and access your Youtube account. Then, create an AVP or Audio/Video Presentation thru a Movie editor software. One free movie editor you can use is the AVS Video Editor.

After you have created your Video Slideshow, you may follow these simple steps to upload your video in your Youtube account.

1. Login to your Youtube account. Click on "Sign In"



2. As you can see, Youtube uses Google (Gmail).



3. Click on "Upload".




4. Click on "Upload Video" , choose the video you made then follow the instructions provided by the process of uploading a video in Youtube.





NOTE: You might want to fill out the form while your video slideshow is uploading, especially the "Tag" box. The "Tag" box should contain what the video is all about when you search the video over Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Either try to format the memory stick from the camera again and if that doesn't work get the memory stick on a computer and format it there.
