If you have checked Power/Ground, and alls good look toward the Multi-Function Sw. (turn sig.sw) this is where everything get distributed at...as for your power loss when shifting, is it column/floor shifter ???? need to know....

what type of motherboard do have? It sud be on right hand-side you will find some pins. USE MEGNIFYING GLASS THERE BE WRITTEN IN SMALL PRINT connect power LED, HDD LED, RESET SW AND POWER SW

The contacts are dirty. I have solved this by rotating around - left and right - a number of times. In the end, however, you need to clean the contacts. I never managed to do this satisfactorily before it burned off somewhere else. Too bad, a very nice amp.
