Schwin scooter not running properly

Got mongoose and a schwin scooter. Neither runs properly. There is juice and the wheels turn, but wont get up and go with a rider. Loses power quickly and fades but will still turn back wheel at high speed when back end is lifted up. How do I know if its just needs new battery or if its motor/clutch problem? Currie motor and clutch on both scooters.

If the battery is old its likely that it needs to be replaced. Also, if batteries sit in the cold in the winter or are exposed to high heat they can be damaged. Try checking out http://www.batteryinternational.com/electric-scooter-batteries.html for a scooter replacement battery.

How do I fix my ezip 450 electric scooter

Your battery may have gone bad. It may have enough juice to turn on the lights but not enough to run the motor. Try connecting the battery directly to the motor terminals. If it runs ok them you may have a bad speed controller.

Power shuts off when i sit on the scooter

Hi, it's only a loose connection or bad connection, pinpointing it will be harder, now turn over the scooter and check the wiring connections

from the battery connector to the controller mounted under the floor board, the best way is to have the scooter running while you move varoius cables but be careful of the wheels etc you will need someont to help you, take care...

Mongoose Pro Scooter will not go

you can have the battery tested for its voltage with an voltage meter and see if it is giving enough output for its purpose, but from the sounds of what you are saying it seems the battery isnt holding enough to power the scooter
