My Mongoose z350 electric scooter goes from full charge to empty in about 20 seconds. I can turn it off and back on and it shows a full charge every time. What is going on with it?

I am having the same problem. By all indications it looks like the motor controller is the problem. Everything else works OK. I am pulling the controller tomorrow and replacing. If that doesn't work I am junking it.

First make sure the scooter is off.
Unscrew and take off the deck
Unplug and remove the old battery pack
Put the new battery pack in and plug it in, using the same connection as the old batteries pack.
Screw the deck on and your done!
Oh, and make sure you give the battery a good charge(the full charging time). The first charge of a battery is the most important one.

Scooter positive terminal to battery 1 positive. Scooter negative to battery 2 negative. Battery 1 negative to battery 2 positive.

you can have the battery tested for its voltage with an voltage meter and see if it is giving enough output for its purpose, but from the sounds of what you are saying it seems the battery isnt holding enough to power the scooter
