SOURCE: My MacBook Pro is stuck on the grey start up screen with the apple logo and a spinning circle. Sometimes it gets to a probationary circle with the spinning circle.

Unfortunately, this sounds like a problem with your hard drive/ logic board. To Fix This You Will Need To Go To The Apple Store And They Will Most Likely Have To Replace Or Repair It. the Process Takes About 2 Days - 1 Week (Just To Set Expectations.) :(

My steering wheel is just turning in a circle.

What make of Washing Machine is this on Dena? That is the category you posted to.

It sounds like a car you are talking about, but it is all guess work unless you include 'year make model' as the first 3 words of the question. Then you have 10,000 categories to choose from listed by 'make year model'.

It may even be a mobility scooter, a golf cart or a lawn tractor in which case we need 'make model (what it is)'.

Something has come unattached. On a steering column, it is usually the universal joint at the bottom end.

Hp pro book turns on but screen won't work

Did you try connecting it to an external monitor? Then try software updates and see if you can roll back the driver for the monitor or the computer to when it worked right.

According to the instruction book - it appears the machine has been stopped mid cycle then re-started.
Switch machine off, turn control knob to a solid circle symbol (they are after every set cycle). Switch machine back on and lights will flash and program is reset. You can then select wash cycle as normal.

My MacBook Pro goes to the grey screen with the

Most likely, you are looking at a corrupt installation of the OS, or a failing hard drive... most likely the latter, unfortunately. Laptop hard drives only seem to last a couple years now, 3-4 if you're really lucky. I would suggest popping in the System Restore Disc (that came with the computer originally) or the OS install disc (in case it has a new version installed than it came with originally) and go to Tools->Disk Utility, and tell it to "repair permissions" and "repair disk", and see if that resolves it. If it happens to, I suggest backing up your data ASAP just in case. More info can be found here on using Disk Utility.

WD 500GB MyBook stopped mounting on MacBook Pro

Have you tried it in another computer? I think these kind of problems can sometimes be caused by USB voltage problems, especially if your MBP has an old battery (I believe the battery is used as a power buffer to keep size of transformer down). If that doesn't work, see if you can find someone with the same HDD power supply and try switching that over. Failing that it's data recovery, you may be able to do this yourself by switching the actual hard drive into a new enclosure.
