If you do not have please go to www.nordicktrack. com then customer service and then parts & manual, give you model, etc, and download free and read the section how to fold and viceversa.

1) you must adjust the REED switch, clean it and tight the wires connector very well.See the diagram
2) when you fix it, RUN the software calibration for diagnose, troubleshooting and fix it.

I have a NordicTrack Elite zi treadmill. While running I hear a ratcheting click coming from the front housing area. When I hear this ratcheting click the belt is slipping a little bit. Any ideas of...

This is more than likely a loose drive belt, which would explain the slipping as well as the sound. To tighten this take off the plastic cover that covers the motor. You will see where the motor connects to the front roller with the drive belt. To tighten it there are two bolts that hold the motor to the machine, loosen those then pull it tight and retighten them, This should eliminate the problem.

What do the distance numbers represent on the nordic track elite 1300

If no distance goal was set, this display will show the distance that you have pedaled, in total revolutions. If a distance goal was set, the display will show the distance still to be pedaled during your workout.

Stand on the back of it, facing the front of the skis. You might have to push the button that helps you raise it while you are staning on it. It is a very elegant ride down! Hope this helps.
