If this is even available on this phone you need
1- the phone unlocked since you will be changing the sim card
2- the phone unlocked and I don't mean the keyboard lock
3- the new trac phone sim card. ready for install
4- fully charged phone and the patience to install the card and set up your new trac phone.

Here is the procedure to enter SIM lock for both LG CU320 & CU500.

1) Install a non Cingular SIM card
2) Enter 277634#*#
3) Scroll to option 6 "SIM Test" and press OK
4) Now just enter 2945#*#
5) After you enter this code it will add a new option 8 will appear "SIM Unlock"
6) Select it and simply enter your code.

Do you mean the network unlock?You can get the respective unlock code for your LG GT505 mobile from Mobile-unlocker.com and remove the network restriction.You need to specify the country,locked network,IMEI no...and get the unlock code along with free unlock instructions.
