I had 4 memory stick from 2 gb Kingston 9905458-009.A00LF and it was ok i tried to extend my memory and replaced one memory stick (bank 4) with A kinston 4 GB dimm DDR3 1333 Mhz Pc3 10600 cl9 1,5v and my processor did'n work i was unable to start him or to do e mem test the processor was restarting periodicaly
You cant do that. memory is always in PAIRS. The sockets are Colour Coded for each PAIR. two blue two black. the largest may need to be 1st Pair. suggestion: take all 4 out. put 2 largest back in as 1st pair see if pc is ok. then add 2nd pair. see if ok. https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02014355 https://support.hp.com/lamerica_nsc_carib-en/product/HP-Pavilion-p6000-Desktop-PC-series/4079858/model/4123110/document/c01989040 https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/memory-ram-upgrades/hp/pavilion-desktop/p6324uk?search=hp+p6324uk

SOURCE: 2 GB or more RAM is not functional
Hi Slavomir9,
I had exactly the same problem. I have the same mobo and tried upgrading to 2GB of exactly the
same Corsair memory and had the same problems as you. I persuaded the memory supplier to take
the Corsair memory. back. The then installed 2 x 1GB of Kingston RAM and it worked fine. I don't
think Corsair memory works very well with this card.

According to the information at:
http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml
AMI beep codes of 1 long and 3 short are, in fact, correctly identified as memory errors. One thing to note is if this memory is Dual Channel, you can only install the memory in groups of two. You must first fill DIMM slot 1 and 3 before filling DIMM slots 2 and 4.
The below website has much more information about your particular motherboard and there's a note about some JEDEC setting for memory that you might want to watch out for or disable to see if it improves stability.

As for Windows XP 32-bit not recognizing more than 3.5 (at most) memory, this is unavoidable. To see all 8 GB, you would need a 64-bit version of Windows. This is something that cannot be altered by BIOS or memory choices, unfortunately. Feel lucky in the fact that you have XP Pro as XP Home will only recognize up to 2.5GB. You'll never utilize all 8GB unless you upgrade your OS, so keep that in mind!

The bord will prob only support pc 2700. Is it running in dual channel mode!
