What's the value of a Sears Kenmore1987 dryer with broken belt model 110.86670100

It was a broken dryer belt. Called Sears. No help ay all. No parts in the sears store.. Called Winklers Appliance 3705 Transport St., Ventura, Ca. 805.642.5103. Brought them the dryer belt. $ 18,95 . They told us what to do. Sold us a belt and we were fixed in 30 minutes at home, by our selves.

If you wish, you can also buy online at "Sears Parts".
If you will type in "appliance parts" or "Sears parts", many , many places sell these, and you can order them.
You will only need your model number in most cases.

Check your belt, either broken or off the motor pulley or broken tensioner spring. Access panel on back lower right of dryer

You're really going to need the model number of the dryer to determine if the piece of paper has the part number for the belt that your dryer needs. If you find the model number info - you can go to Sears Parts Direct to check for a replacement (or go to the store).

You may get some help by bringing the belt to a Sears or Kmart store to compare to other belts that they have in stock. The length of the belt isn't super critical as the tension-er pulley can make up for small differences between your old belt and one that is "close".

the belt has broken off. the belt tensioner has a pulley too that will need to be replaced as well
Sears does sell the two in a kit form

You may have a broken belt.

Pop the top. you will see the belt immediately (or not) If you see it, (it is about 1/4 wide) is it tight or lose? If you dont see the belt, it has probably broken and fallen to the floor of the machine.

Remove the front to replace it.

Find the parts at a appliance parts store or visit repairclinic.com
