What is Indiglo battery

If you don't know what size battery you need, you can find this information on the back plate of your watch. All Indiglo watches have it stamped there, you may need a magnifying glass to read it though!

I have a ladies timex indiglo watch that I was able to get the back off and replace the battery but now I can NOT get the back on again. It doesnt seem to have any grooves on it. It seems as if it would...

I have an old Timberland Indiglo watch in which I had the same problem. I folded up a paper towel for padding and I used two sets of pliers, one to hold one side of the watch while I used the other set of pliers to snap the back cover closed. It took two seconds to do.

Display disappears when Indiglo is pressed

That means your watch has two batteries - one for the movement and another one for INDIGLO. It may have just one battery, but in this case INDIGLO is taking up too much power. Replace the battery and you will be sorted. Rate me, plz.

INDIGLO does not work anymore

Take this to a qualified watchmaker for inspection.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

After about two years, my indiglo night light function stopped working. The watch is still working, keeping time. Will changing the battery fix the indiglo problem?

Definitely, battery change will solve the Indiglo light problem. Many of wristwatches has separate battery for Indiglo function, but my advise is to change them both at once - will be cheaper for you.

Rate me, please.

Changed battery...indiglo works but time isnt working

Some Timex watches are fitted with two batteries (one for indiglo, another for watch movement). Check out if you have this sort of model.

Timex indiglo. Indiglo feature died.

The indiglo technology is time limited (it dims over the years with use) and cannot be repaired - have you had the watch a long time? if so, I'm afraid it's time to get a new one. Sorry!

THE INDIGLO DOES NOT COME ON WHEN THE BUTTON IS PUSHED. THE WATCH CONTINUES TO RUN HOWEVER. THE WATCH WAS A GIFT THAT HAD NO ENCLOSED WARRANTY FOR ME TO FILL OUT/MAIL IN. WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME?

Many of Timex watches has two separate batteries- one for watch and another for indiglo feature. It looks like you have to replace indiglo battery. Nearest watchmaker will do that for you.
