Sanyo DS32225 32" will not turn on. It turned on this morning after a slight delay.

    A fuse? Where is it?

Sanyo's help line has a recording....someone will answer in 3 minutes.....that was 20 minutew ago. The recording mentions a reset button on the remote which I have probably lost. Is there a reset button on the tv? Can't find one.

    Thanks,

    Mike

If the set turns on for a while, then shuts down, there is a problem internally that is being detected. The set has a num,ber of error detection circuits that will cause that shutdown to prevent further damage, You can try a "reset" if you like, but I doubt it will help. The easiest way to do this is to unplug the set for at least an hour. More than likely, the set has a number of poor solder connections and possibly defective parts. If you can solder, try resoldering any connections on the board that appear to be grainy or have rings. Update this with your results.

The Fuse is Located inside the television set but sinse you state that the set powers on but then powers down after a time , that means you do not have a blown fuse , but may have another issue.

The User Manual Link to solve your reset issue.

RCA D52W19 rear projection tv wont turn on

Try this. Change the channel of your TV to 3, do you see a picture, if not. Unplug your system for the TV. Turn off and unplug the TV. Leave it off for about 10 minutes so it can discharge. Turn back on the TV and see if it re-sets. If this does not work let me know. Give me a detailed report including any brand or models you are asking about. Hope this helps.

Sanyo 31'' Standard Def CRT TV

This is a vertical problem that can be as simple as poor connections at the vertical IC or a defective IC. If you can solder, you should be able to fix this yourself. Realize that there are potentially dangerous high voltages present inside hte set even when unplugged. If you wish to attempt this repair, please update this and confirm your model number as DS31590 and I'll supply additional details and instructions.
