The issue is compatability! Its not that ether site is right or wroung its the manufacture and the driver of the printer, and with that said you need to check with that site to see if there is a compatability issue. I looked up your printer and this is not what I call a newer model for HP and these manufactures are trying to use a uni-print method that not all older models support.

I got the same message. I completed the window to set up the printer option and then it printed. But I didn't like the quality. I checked the box that said best but the lettering was grainy looking. Also the print preferences box won't open in my printer's window. I also am not showing the option to reducw size. It is there but only in light gray. I think they have issues to work out with this new program.
