Sound I have a problem. When I insert my headset and I listen to music on Youtube it works perfect! But when I remove my headset so I can hear it through my speakers I have no sound and when I plug my headset in again I also have no sound. So I have to close all the windows of IE or FF and then reopen FF or IE so I get my sound back. But if I remove my headset again, I issue with the same problem. How can I fix this? BTW I also tried it on other PC's and also the same problem.

• well i had an experience the same as you before, i think it's defend to your headset if your using a bluetooth headset or a cabled headset because if your using bluetooth headset and you're walking while listening you will hear the music cutting

I think problem is caused by unplugging the jack before pausing/Stopping the music.
1) Plug in a headset into the jack
2) Open up a media player (either the MP3 player or any online music)
3) Begin to let the music play.
4) Stop the music from playing after a few seconds
5) Completely exit out of the media application.
6) With the headset still plugged in, wait about 15-30 seconds. (this is so that the media/pandora app task can "fully" stop from running)
7) Unplug the headset.
The phone should now be able to emit sound from the earpiece.

If the above does not work, other methods I have read tell you to plug in a headset & play music. While the music is playing, quickly remove & insert the headset into the jack (not too rough so if doesn't break anything) until you hear the music coming out of the speaker.

Finally, if you still have the issue, try rebooting. Turn off the Phone, Remove the battery completely and reinsert after 30 seconds. Turn on the Phone.

Hopefully that should fix the issue.

My guess is a problem with the headphones themselves. Is the jack pushed in all the way. Are they stereo headphones.

the problem is with cable(wire)...the insulation got failed nd got short circuited....if warranty period is there u can get it replaced with a new one...

I have the same problem with my HBS-250. It was working fine on my iPod Touch. It worked the first couple of weeks on my iPhone 4 then stopped playing music. Phone funtion works. No music or podcasts or streaming from the web

Please check if the color of your connector is in exact place. If you want to used mic please insert it to color pink or red then if you want to hear sometimes using your headphone plug it the connector for audio in green. Usually if your head phone has mic then the connector has two different plug for mic and audio out.
