Replacement Parts for Fitness Exercise Equipment at SPORTSMITH

Typically this is caused by a bad pillow block bearing. I would suggest trying to pin point the sound a bit better, but this is common of the pillow block bearings.

Groaning sounds when draining

HI. You may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. This actual section of the pump is not designed to be repaired. You will need to replace the entire pump device, asap. Once replaced, the unit will operate properly, and without the noise.

2002 buick rendezvous groans when turning

The fluid in the versa trak AWD in the rear is old and needs to be drained and refilled. After you drain and refill it, make a bunch of sharp left and right hand turns, then drive it for 10 minutes. Drain and refill it for the second time and problem solved. Use only versa trak fluid available at any GM dealership. There is TSB on this now at the Buick dealership.

Right turn loud groaning

I would say you have bad wheel bearings on the front. More noise turning right means the left is REALLY bad.

Loud groaning noise while turning left

Hi

The groaning noise is the power steer pump operating under duress. I would suggest having the front suspension checked for any seized or failing ball joints or control arm problems. Most suspension guys will give the undercarriage a look over for you for free to check for any failing/unsafe parts. The engine belt driving the power steer pump should also be checked in case it needs adjustment.

Take it to your local dealer,The noise you described if it sounds like a loud groaning its the rear suspension bushes,They will replace the F.O.C with modified bushes....common fault on X-Type.
Just describe it like you did.
They usually do it in a morning, especially if it was raining the night before, then reverse and they groan...Nothing dangerous tho, just annoying...hope this helps
