Dear Nancy,

• Bring the Tabs to be closed on the screen,
• Look on the upper left side, you will see the number of tabs opened inside a square.
• With your index finger Tap on that little square with the number(s) inside it.
• All of the opened tabs will move down leaving a black margin on the top of the screen.
• You will see an X at in the the Right.
• Keep on tapping on the X until you close all of the Tabs.
• Notice that the number inside the square will be counting down every time you close a Tab.
• After the last tab is closed, you will see a + sign inside a square on the Left of the screen.
• You must Tap on that + square to open a new tab.

Enter ALT F4 to close the window. If it does not work press CTRL ALT DEL and select task manager. In the main tab, Applications, select Skype and choose terminate. If you do not see Skype in the Application tab, click the Processes tab and find Skype in the list. Select it and terminate it.
If nothing seems to work, just reboot.

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, select "start Windows Task Manager"
Under Applications Tab, right click on the program you want to close.
Select "Go to Processes"
Right click on the highlighted process and select"End Process Tree"

Open up internet explorer , click on tools, click on the advance tab, then click on reset button at the bottom, follow the prompts, close internet explorer, and then try to re-open it and see if it works.

This is a problem with Microsoft's RSS Feed Reader. As most people use a different Reader (or don't use RSS at all) this can be disabled. Please follow the instructions below to disable it.

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools>>then Internet Options.
Click on the Content tab.
At the bottom, under the Feeds section, click Settings.
Uncheck all boxes and click OK.
Click OK to close the window.
Close Internet Explorer and reopen.

Open the Windows Task Manager (in WinXP) by pressing and holding down CTRL-ALT-DEL. In the Applications tab, highlight each program and click the End Task button. Once the Applications tab is empty, close the Windows Task Manager. Then, launch AOL again. (If you’re using an earlier OS, such as Windows 98, press CTRL-ALT-DEL to open the Close Program window, and close every program except Explorer and Systray.)

Disable all startup items. Click on Start> Run> Type msconfig then press enter. Click on the Start Up Tab the click on Disable All. Click close and restart your computer.

Your system should be starting up faster compared before.

Make sure that the door switch actuator is plugged in and that the tab on the door isn't broken or bent.

Just "close" the message-window, after performing the indicated actions.

Well here is what I can tell you.
Open the front cover. Staring you right in the face should be a bar code/number sticker. Look forward from that and there shoule be a small plastic tab, about a half inch long and less then the thickness of a popsicle stick. It is the front cover interlock switch actuator. It may be broken off.
Or look for the opening where that tab should slide into the machine the switch may be dislogded or broken.
Probably that tab has broken off not actuating the switch on that cover.
