Mitsubishi 50inch TV Turns off right after I turn it on

My dad had a Mitsubishi 50inch TV and the TV would not turn on at all at first. Well, my husbend pluged something in and it worked for almost weeks. Know, the other day the TV would turn on for a minor second and then turn back off. Then, the TV would stay on but it had a strong green tint to it. Know, when he turns it on it will only stay on for a few minutes and then turn right back off.

Tv turns off after 20 minutes. the sleep timer is off.

My 50inch Sony flashes briefly and does same. As I can't justify spending $1000 fixing we put a fan behind it. Start it when u start the TV facing so the air moves the length of TV. We have a small fan on low or medium on HOT days. Give it a try let u know if the TV is getting to warm.

Tv turns on for about three seconds and then turns

here's a simple test, tap the unit several times and see what happens.but, whatever happens, call a tech,it has already faulty components inside.

Tv turns it self off after only 2-3 seconds and makes crack noise

Since the set is less than 1 year old, it should still be under warranty. Request warranty service.

The noise you are hearing is probably arcing inside the set on the power supply board. Continuing to attempt to turn on the set will only make things worse. Please request warranty service as this is unusual for a TV that new.

Tv won't stay on

i have seen this before and it may be the front power button being stuck and when your remote turns it on the stuck button turns it back off again. I have an older mitsubishi that will not boot up right sometimes and i have to unplug it and plug it back in fot it to come on. I used to pick up broken tv and fix the power buton and resell them
