Poor/Uneven Wash Quality

There should be an upper spray arm to wash the upper rack, it may be stuck. Look at its position, run the machine a few seconds and see if it moved. The spray nozzles on the arm often get clogged with food particles. the pipe feeding the spray arm has to extend when you pull the rack out and retracts when you push it in. Make sure it works properly and has not disconnected.

Make sure the center loading is not obstructing the water jet to the top shelf. Top shelf is only for glasses and saucers , use Jet-Dry .Pre rinse and clean bottom pan strainer from dirt debris.

take a good look at the two spinning washers they are easy to remove i would suspect they are clogged clean and replace.adrian,,,,

Check whether the top rackspray arm is moving freely. Check the jet holes and remove clogs if any.

Hope the bottom rack is good in wash quality!

Check all the water jet orfices in the moving arm. Try cleaning without loading the top rack.

If cleans well, mostly the upper rack dishes not arranged properly.

I hope you are using the main wash detergents. Rinse aid is just to remove the stains after the main wash rinse.

Probably blocked spray arms is the cause of the unit not cleaning properly. Remove each spray arm (there are 3 in total) and check and clean all the holes as this is where the water sprays out from to clean the dishes and glasses. When they are blocked you get poor wash results.

Make certain you do not use dish soap when rinsing the dishes. Make sure you only use DISHWASHER soap when running the DW.
In fact,there is no need to rinse dishes. Remove visible scraps and put them in the DW. If it is a quality DW it will clean your dishes. Do not crowd the dishes in the DW. Most JennAir DW's are quality. Make sure the top rack can get washing action from the bottom spray arm. No pots or other water stopping utensils on the bottom rack.

Yes there is the Water Div valve, it diverts the water between the wash arms.

check to make sure your lower spray arm openings are not blocked.
