The first thing you should try is use another web browser then try browsing facebook again. If your computer will restart again then the problem is not within facebook but its your computer. Make sure to download anti virus or anti trojan. You can visit download.com incase you dont have any antivirus installed on your pc.

If my memory serves, VB 6 was the last dos/windows version and windows;nt was simply a text file that held some config parameters when it ran in nt mode. I woud suggest you update your software, but if you are unable to do that, you might try reloading nt from diskette or CD. I think NT also supported the undelete command. If it hasn't been very long since you erased it, you may be able to restore it with an undelete. I think that was the command name.
xp runs with an NT server. i dont think you can alter that its part of the system. you may be able to download a newer version of the program to get around it.
