Very loud on spin cycle, bounces round like it going to take off! part of seal torn away, is this just caused from that? do i just need new seal? (seal door to drum)

Tub seal should take care of the leaking water sounds like you have a bad spin bearing from the water leak this will make a loud noise and put a drag on the basket trying to spin this will cause the belts to slip giving you the burning smell since you have it torn down remove the lower pulley lift out the transmission and change the bearing below it this is the spin bearing.
A loud whinning or rumbling sound when it is in the spin cycle means that the bearings in this washer has failed. It is an expensive repair since the washer has to be torn complete apart to get to the bearings. Also, the manufacturer does not sell you just the bearings and seal but, you must buy the rear tub with the bearings which raises the cost of the repair significantly. For example the rear tub for this washer can cost $250 not including the shipping. So get a few estimates before deciding whether to repair or replacing the washer.
But, if you have the mechanical ability to do the work yourself and you are interested in getting the bearings and seal parts to get your washer going again. If it is making a sound like a loud rumbling sound similar to a jet plane taking off, it probally due to the seal has failed causing water to leak into the bearings. The bearings begin to rust, and no longer round and the noise gets progressively louder. It can be rather expensive to fix. Get a few estimates before deciding whether it is worth fixing.
Make sure the shipping bolts have been removed, and make sure there is no polystyrene packing that needs to be removed.
Make sure the washer is absolutely level as well.
If all else fails, then I would recommend you contact the supplier, and relate the problem to them, more so as it is a new washer.

It's noisy
If your dishwasher seems noisy, check these:
Water-inlet valve Motor Heater fan Pump Water-inlet valve
An aging water-inlet valve can sometimes fail slowly, rather than all at once. It can shudder on and off rapidly, causing the incoming water lines to shake, rumble, and rattle--sometimes violently. If yours is doing this, replace the inlet valve.
Motor
If it's the motor that's noisy, either of these may be the "culprit:"
As motor bearings wear out, they can become quite loud when the motor runs. They wear out quickly if they frequently get wet, because the water washes away the motor bearing grease. Bearings can get wet if the spin seal is defective. Then there will also be water leaking onto the floor beneath the dishwasher. Replace the seal if it leaks (read about the main tub seal in the "It leaks" section, later).
If, from beneath the dishwasher, you can see a round, plastic disc that's mounted to the top of the motor (a "slinger"), it may have broken free of the motor shaft. If so, it could be rattling around the shaft while the motor is running. If that's the problem, you need to replace the motor.
Heater fan
If the heater fan bearings are rusted or worn, they may squeal, or scrape loudly during the drying cycle. If this is the problem, replace the fan motor. Alternatively, the fan blade may be loose. If so, you need to replace it.
Pump
Small fruit pits, toothpicks, and fragments of glass sometimes get stuck in the pump. When this happens, open the pump and remove the debris. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher.
To get to the pump, you usually need to remove the lower rack, the spray arms, and the spray arm support from the inside of your dishwasher. A dishwasher pump isn't obvious. Look for an impeller--a round, plastic fan blade-type device that spins around and pushes the water toward the drain. When you can see the drain impeller, you should be able to see the clogging debris. thanks and accept the solution accordingly
