Howdy. It may work again after it dries, but probably not. That is not a transformer but the radio wave emitter. Water is not ok to put on those parts, and you must never remove the case on a microwave, the potential for damage to you or the machine is great. Some machine's warranties are instantly void when the case is opened. So, if it doesn't work tomorrow, you are looking at replacing it. Sorry for the bad news.
