Have used emachine t3265, have speakers from windows 98 hp. can i connect speakers and where?

1. CPU Power Cord
2. Monitor Power Cord
3. Monitor video cable
4. Mouse w/cable (unless wireless)
5. Keyboard with cable (unless wireless)
6. Network cable with 8P8C connectors (unless wireless)
7. Speaker audio cable (unless internal or no speakers)
8. Speaker power cable (unless CPU powered or no speakers)

I assume you have a bad internal ethernet port and are looking to add an internal board..

Sounds like you might need the Drivers for the Audio go to www.emachines.com support site they should help you there

The printer doesn't support windows 98. supported systems are:

» Microsoft Windows Vista
» Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)
» Microsoft Windows XP
» Microsoft Windows XP x64
» Microsoft Windows 2000
» Mac OS X

» Linux

Note that there are no drivers for 98 and it won't be simple to get the printer to work with the 98.. I would recommend upgrading to 2000 or windows xp. if your computer is from 1998 it might be better to buy a new computer.

Todays printers don't work with 10 year old computers anymore.

linux would work on the computer for sure, and so would the printer but using linux is quite complex, you would need to get someone to install it for you and make it look as much like windows as possible, its a whole new system..

It is the light green jack. Make sure the mute button isn't on by clicking the 'speaker icon' in the task bar and making sure the mute button isn't checked.

You may try "Last Known Good Configuration"

Boot the operating system with the “Last Known Good Configuration” feature. To use this:

1. Restart your computer.
2. When you hear a single beep or after the bios has read your hardware settings press [F8], this will display the “Windows Advanced Options” menu.
3. Select Last Known Good configuration and press enter key.
