The 0xc000001d error may be caused by windows system files damage.

this is a common problem.
use revo uninstaller to completely remove the program
and download adobe flash player from
www.filehippo.com. this should solve your problem.Its probably jus a minor installer problem

Your issue is a permission error in your registry with the files associations trying to be written at install. I had the EXACT same issue with Acrobat. Search the internet for "Acrobat Installer Issues". There is a link at the abode fourms site to Download a program to reset the entire registry permissions. As you will NOT be able to do this, Windows will tell you, "you do not have permission to view the permissions. Although you do NOT have Acrobat problems the issue is IDENTICAL.
