Cant delete mail from inbox.

If you went to a new version of yahoo mail and that is the problem, then to go back to classic mail try lowering your screen resolution to 800 x 600. You may have to log out and then log back in after doing this for it to take affect.
This trick is just to get you back to yahoo classic mail.
It should bring up 2 options for you to choose from, either change back one time only or change back permanently......choose the permanent one.

You will need to go to www.yahoo.com contact page [ look on the bottom of the opening page] and simply ask them to restore the account. Sometimes Yahoo messes up and can delete an entire account. It happens

maybe the inbox or draft or sent items was already full so delete those are not important..try also to check the email of your recipient as well..

in your home page at spam link. and also empty link. clik on it.

You may be using the All-New Yahoo Mail.

Please change to the Classic version, Click "Options" then "Mail Classic".

may be your mail is under trap and try to change new password using security options if you want present one

1. go to 'more actions' tab in yahoo mail.
2. choose 'select All messages' option.
3. now press 'delete' button.

Try clearing internet cache, temporal files etc.
from internet explorer go to tools delete browsing history then select everything.

Its hard to retrieve a deleted email.You sould have put it in the folder or something.There is a deleted tab in the email. If you deleted it from there too, then you cant retrieve it. But like beside inbox and sent message and draft, there's one that says deleted and spam. click on deleted.
If that doesnt work,try writing to Yahoo if the mail is that important.
