Your cassette seems to be jammed, try removing the player open it which should reveal the trapped cassette then try to carefully remove the tape as it may have got stuck around the capstans(rubber bits) sometimes when tapes haveen't been played for a long time they tend to become loose, try to ensure that the tape is tight by using a pencil inserted into the spool and turn it until the tape tightens please take care not to over tighten. good luk

Tape jammed in my car cassette player

The conventional wisdom is to lever underneath the front edge of the cassette with a flat blade, while tugging on it with needle nose pliers, and with your spare hand (or toe) pressing the eject button.
If this does not work, the player will have to come out of the dash, and have its outer case removed. This may assist

Once the player has done this, it is liable to do so again. I would replace it unless you really want to keep it.

Pioneer Stereo double cassette deck Ct-W302R - is it repairable?

They might be repairable but usually at a cost that exceeds it value. Who wants to pay $150 to fix what was known as a throw away tape deck? Not many. It might even exceed $150 as they are complicated to repair bot being designed to be repaired.

Hi8 won't eject cassette

There is a broken plastic part inside the cassette and needs to be replaced. Mostly due to cassette tape improper position and camera jam (tape jam).

Tape player keeps automatically switching between

In my experience this is often down to a cog or other maniacal device in the player that has suffered some damage. As it is playing the fault causes a switch, which should not happen, and then leads to a chain reaction to the eject.

Casstte Player- '94 ford

I think you are saying you are using a cassette adapter to play the external iPod/PSP etc. and I presume the cassette plays regular tapes OK. The auto-reverse cassette player thinks the 'tape' is over, so reverses then ejects. You can try putting in a regular tape, change sides then eject. Try the adapter again. Hopefully the adapter will work in 'one' direction.

Jammed tape in Sony camcorder

There is no manual eject.
The only way is to disassemble the camera outer shell, then remove the drive mechanism and using a 4.5 V power supply power the eject mechanism.
It takes 30 min of work when you know how to do it. If you find the service manual (free somewhere in internet) it will tell you how to open the camera.
Hope this helps.
