I have an HP officejet 5610 "all-in-one" and my printer is plugged in-both to an outlet and to my laptop, like i have always done.
however, i cannot get it to print anything! it can still make copies however. when i go to select a printer when i'm trying to print something, I select "HP officejet 5600 series [copy 1]". It's status claims that this printer selection is ready, but nothing is printing.
What should i do?

My problem is that all the wiring is correctly installed and I've been using this printer since 2007, never had any problem till a week ago. When I print from my desk-top it shows that the document is printing but nothing comes out of my HP office printer, secondly, if I try to copy anything the printer shows copying in progress but never prints.

My printer won't print anything and won't copy anything, however I have been using this printer since 2007 and never had problems with it until a few days ago.
