Washer won't tumble

My GLTR1670AS0 Fridgidaire front load washer starts, fills, drains, but doesn't tumble. the timer goes through the entire cycle chimes end of cycle and unlocks the door, all in about 10-15 seconds. I checked the belt, and the motor and tub turn free by hand.
Is this a bad timer or a circuit board or what ,any ideas?

Don't have much experience on Frigidaire. Is the motor a brush type, capacitor type or one of those new DC types? If it's got brushes and they are ok, then I would say your armature is up the creek. If it's a capacitor type (unlikely) then the capacitor is most likely duff. If it's the new DC type it could be a lot of things, most likely the module which breaksdown and passes an AC component in the motor supply which make the motor tremble but not rotate

This is a fault that resides within the motor control board. you will need to replace this failed module asap if possible. it has failed.

Hi,
The best way to check is to use an electrical meter and check for power going to the motor....if you have power and the motor does not run then the motor is bad...
It is also very possible that the motor is not getting power and that a relay is bad...that could be much more difficult to track down...

Beko WMP652W washing machine will start cycle but get stuck at end of wash, doesnt go onto rinse or spin any help please?

see the next steps and use the common sense: God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. Hi

If the cycle won't complete then either it's a problem with the timer or a cold-water supply problem:-

If your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water.

I have a Fridgidaire front loader. It completes the regular wash cycle, but clothes are soaking wet- it's not doing the final fast spin. When I select the drain/spin option, it drains and eventually...

Either an off balance load (unlikely if it happens all the time), a bad door switch, or a bad motor control board. Easiest repair is to try replacing the door switch, failing that, i'd call someone in to test the speed board.

Washer won't wash

Hi!
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

Fridgidaire 7 cycle - older model top loading washing machine wont drain

could be a stuck gear box. motor trying to turn it on the reverse rotation for spinning. it could be the motor that hums. or the belt could just be loose.

inspect the belt and see if it is loose and adjust it if necessary.

Will not go into tumble action

Because F04 is not a clearly defined failure, the possible cause of your situation is a timer, a lid switch, a belt, a drive motor, or an agitator.

Solution, before proceeding watch your timer (does it follows its cycle?) if no replace timer, if yes, then check your lid switch replace if defective, check your belt if it broken or worn replace it, check your drive motor for functionality, and check your agitator--your agitator can become worn, strip out the spline that allows it to properly grip the shaft.
