52LG50 had the classic problem of turning on and off repeatedly. Replaced main power board. Also replaced PCB front assembly when problem returned several weeks later. Worked great for 3 weeks, then started with on/off problems again, advancing to not turning on at all, when plugged in has pinkish red power light but no response other than that. Will not turn on at all. Replaced the PCB front again, but no change. Pinkish red power light, but TV will not turn on.

SOURCE: 47LC7DF, Green light comes on, blinks with remote

When you say that you have replaced the main board i assume you mean the power board? If the green light comes on and blinks when the remote is touched it was never a issue with the mainboard, if it was you wouldnt have any signs of power. In most lcd tvs you have the main board which is normally the power board, the signal board which recieves signal and hold settings of the tv which can be all in one, the other is the inverter board, which scrambles the signal to what you see on the screen, and next we have the back light which lights the screen so you can see the picture, sometimes in certain models as i have learned you can have power/inverter boards which means the inverter and power are all on the same board, in your case i pressume the inverter board is seperate board and probably the issue you need to address, you can buy these online probably the same place you got your new mainboard from. Hope this helps pls post bach what happens.

SOURCE: My LG Plasma 42PC3D turns on and off repeatedly. I

Your plasma TV has a power supply 6709900019A. These power supplies failed due to defective capacitors. See the picture below and check the capacitors mark with the red lines. There are 10 capacitors that should be replaced even if they do not show signs of bulging/swelling on top.
The value of the capacitors is 3300uF/10V but you can use 25 volts as long as they fit in the space provided by design.

HI. This will be the cause of a defective PCB. This circuit board is the main controller of your unit. the clicking is the result of a failed relay assembly. these relays are mounted on the board, itself. The board should be mounted just behind an access panel, on the rear of the unit, slightly above or near the compressor assembly. Kindly have this PCB replaced, asap.

The PCB is , indeed, the culprit in this situation. Once the PCB is exposed, you should visually inspect for brownish discoloring, and relay trauma. Possible power surge may have caused the board to short.

The washer does not run through the wash cycle. The door locks but nothing further happens. There is an "LE" error message but I do not have a manual that explains what that means. Please help.

The LE error message means locked motor error and it is almost always accounted for an out-of-order Hall Effect Sensor. Other causes includes defective Main Board and broken wiring harness.

To check the Hall Effect Sensor:
  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Remove the top plate assembly by unscrewing the two screws on the back of the top plate.
  3. Look for the Main Board assembly on the rear left side of the machine.
  4. Remove the power connector and sensor switch assembly.
  5. Remove the Main Board assembly protection cover by releasing the latches along its sides.
  6. Look for the 4-pin white connector with white, gray , red, and blue wires. It is the wiring harness going to the Hall Effect Sensor. Disconnect it from the board.
  7. Using a multimeter, check the resistance between the white and blue wires and between the white and red wires. Resistance should read about 10k ohms.
  8. If either resistance reads open, check for a broken wiring harness and repair or replace as necessary. Otherwise, the Hall Effect Sensor is defective and must be replaced.
  9. If the tests above show that the Hall Effect Sensor seemed to be good, you have to check if the Main Board delivers 10 to 15 Vdc supply to it.
  10. Reconnect the machine to the power outlet.
  11. Press POWER but DO NOT PRESS START.
  12. Set the multimeter to DC volt and measure the voltage between white and gray wire terminals on the Main Board. Voltage should be 10 to 15 Vdc. Otherwise, the Main Board is defective and must be replaced.
  13. Connect the red test lead to the red wire and the black test lead to the gray wire.
  14. Turn the motor rotor slowly by hand.
  15. You should measure a pulsating 10 Vdc if the Hall Effect Sensor is okay.
  16. Repeat the step with the red test lead connected to the blue wire.
  17. If you measure a 10 Vdc but not pulsating, the Hall Effect Sensor is defective and must be replaced.
Feel free to inform me if the Hall Effect Sensor or the Main Board needs to be replaced and if you want to replace it yourself.

Hi. Due to the fact that the fans are not operational, this will confirm that the Main PCB has failed. This is the main power control board. It must be replaced, asap. The general location of this affected board will be just behind an access panel, near the compressor unit, or on the backside, mounted in the middle section of the unit.

Once the Main PCB board is replaced, the unit will return to its normal operating status.
