Replacable Keyboads I was wondering if you can replace a lap top keyboard. See I have a Toshiba laptop and its missing a few keys because well a dog jumped on it and knocked off the keys. The keys were lost. I really want to replace the keyboard, but how? Is there even a replacable keyboard for laptops?
There are ways to replace laptop keyboards but it is expensive. try going to a computer repair shop, they may have a broken laptop with the same keys as yours. you can also get a external usb keyboard.

there would be a button on the front edge of the laptop near to the keyboard, the symbol would be an echo sign that signify that that is a wireless button.
I have found it easier to buy a new keyboard from ebay and replace the whole thing. Its not a hard process just a few small screws and your done. You can find out how to remove the keyboard from Gateway should have a repair manual for download.
