u may have started wearing a Polar F11 Fitness heart rate monitor to help you keep track of your pulse during cardiovascular exercise. The monitor consists of a strap with electrodes that you attach to your chest, which transmit heart rate data to a receiver worn on your wrist like a watch. The wrist unit stores data and settings that you can customize, such as your weight, height and target heart rates. However, you may wish to reset the unit and start over with new settings. You can reset your Polar F11 by following a few easy steps. Instructions
1
Press any button to activate the Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor unit.
2
Press all buttons on the Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor simultaneously, except the "Light" button. There are five buttons and the "Light" button is at the top left side of the unit. Continue to hold the buttons until the display fills with digits.
3
Press the "OK" button, which is located on the right side of the unit in the middle of the up and down buttons. The Polar F11 Fitness heart monitor will reset.

Try to reset it
Scroll through the menu options by using the up and down arrow buttons located just under the "Menu" button. Scroll down to the "Setup" icon, which looks like a big cog. Press the "Auto/Set" button to access the Setup menu.Scroll, using the down arrow, to "Factory Reset." This setting is located at the bottom of the Setup menu.Press the "Menu" button on the right side of the monitor. This will bring up the On Screen Display. If nothing happens when the "Menu" button is pressed, press and hold it for several seconds to unlock the On Screen Display.Press the "Auto/Set" button to choose "Factory Reset" and then press the down arrow to reset the monitor.
I have the same Athletic Works stopwatch. I just figured out how to turn off the alarm: press either of the two mode buttons (middle top, or bottom right) until you see the regular time displayed (the seconds will be changing, but nothing else, and nothing will be flashing). Press and hold the reset button (top left); while holding down the reset button, press the start/stop button (top right). Watch the bell icon on the display in the upper right corner; with each press of the start/stop button you will see the bell either appear or disappear. When the bell disappears, release the reset button. The alarm is now off.
Fixed service intervals Press and hold button [A] 24297. Switch ignition ON. Release button [A]. The words "SERVICE" or "SERVICE IN xxxx MI" will appear in the trip recorder display. Press button [B] until the display clears and is replaced with the new service interval or "SERVICE!". Switch ignition OFF.
button A middle right of check
button B right of button A
Press and hold the button on the left side of the display while turning the ignition on
Service OIL will be displayed
Pull out the button on the right side of the display until the service prompt is cleared
The display should now read ---
If the above procedure does not work, outlined below is an alternative procedure:
With the ignition off, push the right button
Turn the ignition on and then pull the left button
This should clear the warning message --- I have a 2002 A4 Quattro. To reset that Service message, hold down the service button. That's the one with the picture of a wrench on it. While holding it down, turn on the ignition. Let go of the service button and press the "Mode" button just to the right of the service button. It should clear the display.
* This does not work in older models, like my Audi A4 /1.6, 1995. It needs the cable and the program ( e.g. VAG-COM). Even with this, clearing the code (IN1 or IN2) is quite complicated.
1. Hold Back button down for menu. 2. Select "Time" but scrolling down to 2nd page with right bottom button and OK button. 3. Use right buttons and OK button to set. 4. Hold down Back button to return to normal display.
I think the trick is knowing to hold the Back button down to get the initial menu.
When the icon is in the unlock position, hold down the Menu key (the far left button in the lower righht hand corner) on your monitor. This should bring up the menu. From there, you can reset the factory settings.
