No disc to instgall scanner HP 4215 all-in-one offcie jet

Sounds like you're having a problem with the automatic document feeder. The scanner is continuing to scan but the paper is not advancing as it should during the first part of the infeed. Check to see if something is inside retarding the path of the scanned document. Or it could be worn rollers in the ADF.

visit the manufacturers website, download the necessary drivers, then install it

goto HP.com then search your model theior jsut follow the steps their when ask to download choose the 64bit for xp. and your ready to install your driver after downloading

Try This :
You Need to install the full feature software for the printer ;
First uninstall the entire software from your computer
Unplug the USB cable;
Then put the CD in the computer ;
Goto My computer- Right click on Black HP logo - Click on Explore - Open UTIL (Folder)- Open CCC (Folder)- Double Click on UNINSTALLATION L3 file;
If you don't have the Cd Uninstall the software from Add and remove programs
Restart the computer ;
Click on the below given link it will help you download the software :

Select your OS;
Select the Full feature Driver;
Click on Download ;
Save to your desktop;
and then run the software;
