Can't upload photos(taken with the laptop camera)onto Facebook.I've tried resizing the photos but I'm not sure if theres another way to resizise them that would work better. All Facebook says is 'there was an error.failed to open file.'
"In the event that the image was recorded with a 360 or circular camera framework that adds 360 metadata to the image document, then you can transfer a 360 video to your own Timeline a similar way you'd transfer some other image," says Facebook on a post- http://wccftech.com/view-post-360degree-photos-facebook/
Assuming, in any case, an image was caught utilizing a camera framework that does not include the 360 metadata into the video record, Facebook clients need to add the 360 metadata to the document. A short time later, they have to complete comparable strides in transferring some other recordings to their Timelines or Pages- http://gonetech.net/facebook-technical-support-phone-number/

Testimonial: "I couldn't find any option to use photos from the webcam. It lets me open the files that the photos are on,and select them. The loading symbol appears but the photos don't appear and no error appears.I think it could be the size of the photos, but resizing them doesn't seem to work"
Might be a problem with Java Whether the picture is large or small, you can put it on Facebook. If you want to show your friends your computer background or some other very large image, you dont have to worry about the size of it being too large for Facebook. Facebook automatically resizes pictures to fit the web pages margins, so you can upload any size picture you want to the site. Open and log in to your Facebook account in your Web browser. Click on your name on the left side of the screen to view your profile. Click the Photos tab at the top. Open the album in which you want to add the picture to. You can also create a new album by click Create Photo Album at the top. Click Add More Photos while viewing the album. Allow the Java tool to access your browser if you receive a pop-up asking if you want to Run it. Find the picture you want to add from the folders on the left task pane. The pictures within the folders will show up in the center window. Choose the picture(s) you want to upload by clicking the box in the top, left of the picture. Click Upload. Wait for the picture to upload. You will receive a message stating the upload was successful when it finishes.

Hello sarahmcgrath
Use the usb cable supplied with your digital camera and plug it into your computer. It then should automatically be detected and give you the option to transfer photos or videos to your computer. If this does not open check your My Computer for irremovable media drive. The memory card in the camera will show up as another driver letter open up then copy the photos or video from there to your computer.

Hi ionevike...
1...Reinstall your drivers, that should solve the problem, sometimes the drivers get corrupted.
2...Purchase a card reader like found at the following webpage(They can be found at other sites also, and in other places.)
It is eaiser to use because you will insert your card into the reader and plug the usb into a vacant usb port on your computer..it will ope a window...choose to "view the files"...when you make that choice, another window will open and show your pictures...highlight them and drag and drop them to your file/folder of your choice.
Please take time to rate me
