Samsung L100 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Some of the pictures was lost. How to recover it?
You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted. When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead. If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned. If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it. One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted pictures is to try some
photo recovery software. Recommended asoftech photo recovery as it saved my life many times.

Standby Mode? Won't stay on longer than 3 seconds
Are you absolutely sure the battery is good? Do you have a battery eliminator that you can plug into camera to double check? Do you have another battery you can throw in there ? Is the memory chip ok? A corrupted chip can sometimes shut down a camera.
If unit still does this with a known, confirmed, good power supply, then the electronics are at issue and given the high cost of proprietary parts and labor, a repair might not be cost effective.
Camera lens is stuck in out position, but screen is not on, beeps three times when i push the on/off button
I had this problem with my Nikon CoolPix S500. The problem was that my step-daughter had dropped it while the lens was out, causing it to get wedged out of alignment. On close inspection, I could actually see that one edge of the lens was protruding just a little more than the opposite edge.
The fix was to gently but firmly press or tap on the edge that's protruding a little more, just to get it sufficiently unstuck for the low-torque built-in motor to retract it properly.
Once it's unstuck, you still need power it off and on a couple of times to reset and recalibrate the in and out positions. Good luck!
My camera affected with sea water
This is not good, most likely the camera is damaged beyond repair. To get the camera repaired, most likely the repairer will charge for a quote unless you go ahead with the repair. If it was me, I would put my money towards a new camera.
Card locked
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
