I need to set the time on my g-shock 330a watch

I'm deployed in Afghanistan. Before my battery died I had local time programed with correct date and then below I had Nebraska time. I don't have a operators manual here and I can't figure out how to set the time. And since were on the subject I don't know how to set the alarms either. Can you help me or set me up with a manual. Thank you.

I know the product below says GW-300CA, but the back of the watch says GW-330A

Hi, mate. Do not know how it's going in Afghanistan right now, but I hated every single bit in that country 28 years ago (Russian invasion).
Unfortunately I was in service in Soviet Army, so, we would be shooting each other if you were there at that time.
Right now I'm very happy, 'coz I was fortunate enough to escape from Soviet Union 20 years ago and find my refuge in England.
Anyway - deepest respect to the guys servicing their own homeland in such a hot spots.
OK, back to business:

I bought this watch in May of last year. For the last 3 months, every 2 to 3 weeks I have to reset the hand home position. Once that is done, I have to then reset the home city and time manually. What...

Hand home positioning normally has nothing to do with time setting.
Just set your local time and date and then you can do the hand home positioning procedure. This will not affect the time setting. If hands, after a while,do not show correctly, this means that the watch is under severe magnetic field, after severe shock or finally watch malfunction.
You must know that on this type of watches analog time follows digital time.

I cant set the date, because I got the battery replaced and I the date is two days late

Use the manual to set the correct time zone, time and date. Manual is available on the Casio worldwide website>support>manual>watches.
Have the module number at hand: you will enter it to find the manual. The module number is a 3 digit or 4 digit number on the back of the watch.

I replaced the battery. The watch started time from Jan. 1

You have to set the year, the month and the date. Then you set the time zone. After that you can set the local time. You may also have to set the Daylight Savings Time.
The watch has a built in calendar that may run from let's say January first 2000 to the year 2070 (just a guess). If you set the calendar correctly you do not have to adjust the date when a month has 30 days, or when it is a leap year.

G Shock

Hi, go to the following website G-Shock Website User Support

If you know the model number of the watch, enter it in the "Number" search field in the "Manuals" section. This should then find the correct user guide for you to download and help set the time and date. You will probably find that most models will function in the same way, so you may be able to find a similar model that sets the time and date in the same way as the watch you have.
If your not successful with that, let me know and will try and grab a manual for you that could work :-)
Cheers

Casio G-Shock GW-300 replacement bands

I have a Casio g-shock gw-330a and now find myself again replacing the band. So far, $60 on bands. They last me two or three years. To install the band, take the band and watch to a Jeweler. My local Sears does it for me. $5 for installation; $5 for purchase shipping; $20 for band. $30 every couple of years.
This cost disturbs me.
