A sound during certain cycles indicates a broken part. By the information provided sounds like a pump may be the problem. You may need to contact a service tech about this issue. If the appliance still under warranty, the service should be provided for free.

Every time when you hear noises (other than the normal ones) in the appliance, it indicates there is something wrong and it will worsen over time, so as soon you hear something is not ok, get assistance.

Remove the bottom plate near the floor. You can then look in under the dishwasher machine. The feet are adjustable up/down with a wrench most of the time. The dishwasher machine should tilt slightly away from the over flow sensor. In this case, Frigidaire Ultra Quiet, the rear feet should be lowered, or the front feet raised. If you have a machine with the over flow sensor on the bottom, at the back, tilt your machine slightly forward. Use detergent that dissolves food proteins. Problem solved.
