Hello try to download a manual for trouble shooting
just select the right model here:
http://www.gigabyte.com/search/search.aspx?kw=+GA-G31#pr-1The number is printed in on the mainboard by the pci socket.
Have you tryed to upgrade the bios ???
Whats the fault in more details ???
Any visible faults ???
Try to renew the cmos (cr2032) battery:
And try to boot again.
You have to setup the clock and the boot settings for the drive.
Because removing the battery will reset the bios to factory defaults.
A fault in a graphic card or drive can also cause this.
Good luck
