I have an Eljer jacuzzi tub in my master bath. I have used it before and know that it has worked in the past. When I recently filled up the tub, no jets would work. I live in a townhouse and believe that the brainiac person who installed it may have tiled around it. ( The only access panel I have is for the hot/cold water) The propery management compnay has no information on the tub. I am desperate for any information at this point.
I have seen this in the past, a ground fault electrical outlet on the inside of a roman tub,if you have a 2 story house look for access panel on or by tub. otherwise you have to remove tile or other to access motor, you probably need a step too anyways
let me add to my comment. in calif its code they have too have a panel or some way to access, because that motor has to plugged in, maybe on one side of tub you have a vanity if so theres probably a plug close by, cut a hole on inside of vanity straight down from elect outlet so you can follow elect line. if your plumbing is mounted on the deck and not mounted to the tub itsself, you can lift it,a little , the oppisite side of the drain up, wont be easy.a year ago i went to tile a bathroom floor, the same exact problem on tub, no power, it was a two story house on the outside of house there was a access panel painted the same color as the stucko, i got a ladder and there was a gfi outlet that was tripped,i know you have some kind of access somewhere, i'm a licensed tile contractor i've never not seen a panel because they finish plumbing after i'm done. good luck
i was thinking about your problem about access panel to your tub. i have tiled around access panels on two separate times and caulked the panel flush to the face of tub platform,so when the home owner had to open it he had to cut the caulking around it. good luck
