Possible ways to remedy this problem:
problem of weak beverage
solutions:
1. Filter Type-BUNN paper filters must be used
for proper extraction.
2. Coffee Grind-A fine or drip grind must be used
for proper extraction.
3. Sprayhead-A six-hole stainless steel spray-
head must be used for proper
extraction.
4. Funnel Loading-The BUNN paper filter must be centered in the funnel and the bed of ground leveled by gentle shaking.
5. Water Temperature- Place an empty funnel on an empty
dispenser beneath the sprayhead. Initiate a brew cycle and check the
water temperature immediately below the sprayhead with a ther-
mometer. The reading should not be less than 195F (91C). Adjust
the control thermostat to increase the water temperature. Replace if necessary.

Coffee brewing comes out in a fast steady stream when brewing, coffee doesn't brew properly and comes out weak. taste like unbrewed.

If it comes out in a steady "stream" it sounds like the sprayhead is missing. The sprayhead disperses the water out and evenly over the grounds.
If the sprayhead IS in place then it could be a temperature problem. If the temperature is not hot enough the coffee will not brew correctly.

Coffee is too weak

Hi there,
I just spoke to someone at customer service. My coffee has been weak and kind of thin. We had the Superautomatica by Saceo for years and I remembered the coffee being richer.
Anyway! The person suggested that I adjust the grind but slowly. So set it to the coarsest setting, brew 2-3 cups. Then put it to the 2nd-coarsest setting, brew 2-3 cups. To the third, brew 2-3 cups. To the forth, brew 2-3 cups. Etc. Until you're at the finest grind setting. Again, brew 2-3 cups. An awfully sensitive machine. It seems to have worked although the last few seconds of brewing continue to be a kind of milky colour (as opposed to a deep black coffee colour). You can, though, press the "cup" button to stop the brew. So once, it starts running milky, you can stop the cycle.
I hope this helps. I know I've been struggling and cursing the machine for a while :)

Coffee too weak

Probably a bad thermal switch. My wife had the same problem with hers and I recently fixed it.

What is the temperature of the coffee when if finishes brewing? It should be around 190 degrees F. If it is cooler than that it indicates the switch is turning the heater down too soon. This means the pot doesn't circulate hot enough water through the grounds and the coffee ends up weak.

Replacement switches are available from
http://www.goodmans.net although the one I got wasn't an exact fit I made it work.

My Vienna Digital suddenly makes weak coffee and it not hot

Try resetting the maching to factory settings.
Here is another question, bear with me, what do you brew the coffee into? And is it pre-warmed?

Coffee Machine Brewing Water

Try an experiment - brew a test cup, but use only a small amount of grounds in the brew basket (use a paper filter) [or else, put the grounds in the gold tone filter basket]. See if the machine makes coffee (albeit weak coffee). If it does not make coffee, see if the water is draining properly from the brew basket, or if it is leaking over the sides of the brew basket. Also, make sure the lid to the brew basket is completely open and in the correct position.

If you still get water only in the caraffe, replace the brew basket. The part costs about $11.95 with shipping - or even call Cuisinart to see if your 3-year warranty will cover the issue.

Coffee is weak

Check where the water comes out under the brew filter. It sounds like you may be missing the sprayhead. It is a round metal or plastic piece that is screwed on to the water dispense area and acts like a little showerhead forcing water evenly over the coffee grounds. If it is missing, the coffee will be weak. Check the water temperature. If it isn't hot enough, the coffee will be weak.

Weak coffee

It sounds like you may have lost the sprayhead. It is under the brew basket (above the place where you put the basket with the filter and the coffee). Sometimes they get loose and you don't realize it and it can fall in the grounds and get tossed out after brewing.
