Unplug the range.
Remove the oven racks.
Remove 2 screws holding the element to the back wall.
Slide the element towards you carefully. Remove the wires and install them on the new element.
Reattach the element to the back wall.

Hello Damaya,

I am sorry to inform you that this is not the proper model number of your unit. The model number you give is for a Frigidaire electronic air cleaner. Your model number should be located in side or around the facing of the oven or compartment below the oven. If you can post back to this thread I will be more than happy to locate the cow-rod you need for you oven and explain how to change out the part.

Thank you for using FIxya and please do not hesitate to ask questions.

Replacing baking element for GE Truetemp

I just had the same problem. Just remove the rear panel of the range and unplug the two leads. Now go to the two screws inside the oven and remove them. The heating element will now come out and you can insert the new element the same way. Replace the two screws inside the oven and then attatch the two leads in the rear. Replace the rear panel and you are set to go.

Kitchen Aid Superba Range

We got one used too. It would kinda heat up on broil and would not heat up for Bake. There is two heating elements the one on the top is only for broil or convection (partially). The other is under the cover on the bottom near the back of the oven it is primarily for Baking. We have a repair plan through our utility company and they replaced that heating element which is why I cannot give you too much specifics on how to get to it, but it is there and it fixed our problem. Hope this helps we absolutely love this oven now that it works so keep trying!!
