i have same fridge and my problem is that the water from freezer is not going out pf the fridge, instead it comes down to fridge section through condensation

I have a Electrocool Model GR-382R upper freezer and lower fridge and the fridge part will freeze after about 2 weeks. If you unplug it for a day and plug it back in it will work fine for another 2 weeks.

If there is a vent control in the freezer unit, it allows cold air to fall into the refrigerator below. How you regulate those vents will affect the temperature below. If yo put a thermometer in the lower section you could adjust the vents to get the desired temperature below...37degrees Farenheit is good for the vegetables in the cold drawers...

Fridge gets cold then shuts off

Feel the motor temp. after letting it do its thing for a reasonable period. If motor is extreemly hot then it means motor is switching off on internal protection.(has to be replaced then.). Set temp to its coldest then see if it still switches off as it is. if the same, board is more likely to be a problem. Very seldom if ever does one have to replave sensors. (assuming it has an electronic board). If using a th/stat, replace it if temp does improve but still eratic.

The channel in the back were the cool air comes down from the freezer to the fridge may be iced up. Try defrosting the fridge/freezer for much longer than usual, all day if necessary.

I have electrocool LG MOdel# GR-382R ser# 206MR17803. my bottom fridge cooler area is freezing up.

I have the same problem.It seems that the gasket around the freezer door and fridge door are no longer tightly adhering to the fridge therefore allowing the cool air from the freezer to continiuously entering the fridge storage and making evreything freeze up. I am trying to find out if I can purchase new gaskets and install them myself.
Any recommendation on where to find these and how to install them?

Well i have the exact same refrigerator but opposite problem.... the freezer works but the entire refridgerator is a freezer....why is the fridge part freezing everything. This appeared to happen after the power went out and the entire fridge is a freezer now.

It is more than likely short of refrigerant, needs to have the leak repaired and then recharge refrigerant.

You can try this, close the freezer door (fan operation controlled by a small switch on the door) then feel how much airflow is getting to the fridge side. The fridge cooling comes from the freezer side through a damper which is closed or opened by the setting you make in the fridge compartment. If there is reduced airflow, it could indicate that there are problems with the defrost system or the actual defrost element. The green lights indicate that you are not within the differential range of the setpoint temperature. Hope this is more helpful
