You need a step-down voltage converter to convert 220V to 120V.

Amazon has them. One example - http://www.amazon.com/VCT-VT-300-Voltage-Transformer-Converts/dp/B000J65PJQ/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365005058&sr=1-13&keywords=convert+120V+to+220 or http://www.amazon.com/Voltage-Converter-220-240-110/dp/B001ES8YY6/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365005058&sr=1-2&keywords=convert+120V+to+220.

Look for words like "voltage converter", "voltage transformer" and "travel"

Hi I'm trying to get some channels in my country but when I try to search their is only 2 country Mexico and America how can I get those channels in South America

Hello -

I believe you will need to purchase a TV which is coded for use in
Central and South America.

I suspect your current TV is coded for use in North America (using the ATSC standard.)

For most Central American and South American countries, TVs enabled for the ISDB-T standard are needed.

I what country in South American do you reside? You can click or tap on Comment to type in an answer or comment.

Best wishes.

Need info on the cranberry harvest, dates and places towns and times

Hello, Peter -

Your question landed in the Fixya.com category for Video Game Consoles & Games. I suspect you are not asking about video game consoles or games, but asking about the actual time periods and locations for harvests of cranberries at cranberry bogs.

The challenge in answering your question is that you give no clue to the area of the USA or Canada where you may be interested.

The major cranberry producing states are Massachusetts, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Washington, and Oregon. Cranberries are grown as far south as North and South Carolina.

In Canada, you will find the following provinces are the largest cranberry producers: Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Cranberries are also grown in Chile in South America.

Fall is cranberry harvest time, therefore for the cranberries grown in Chile, their Fall is the same as Spring in North America.

Since I have no idea what part of the cranberry-producing world interests you regarding harvest dates as well as locations and dates of harvest festivals, you will need to research that information yourself by using your favorite search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, Duck Duck Go, etc.) and the following search phrase, with quotation marks as shown:
"cranberry festival" state / province/ country
Examples:
"cranberry festivals" Wisconsin
"cranberry festivals" Quebec
"cranberry fesitvals" Chile

If you find conducting the research on your own a challenge, I suggest you visit your local public library and ask one of the reference / information librarians assist you.

Note: I am a librarian by profession.

Best wishes.

What are New World wines?

The term 'new world' refers to wine produced in new world wine producing countries such as New Zealand, America, Australia, Chile, Argentina, or South Africa- in essence, all wine producing countries outside of Europe. They are referred to as New World because these countries did not start producing wine until the 15th, 16th, or 17th centuries.

What is an ideal time of year to harvest grapes for winemaking?

This depends where in the world you are. In Europe and most of North America, August to October are ideal harvest months. Other countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, South America and South Africa are better harvesting their grapes from February to April.

HP laptops power supply

Well, as a rule for electronics:
The United States and Canada use 110-volt electricity.
Most countries outside North America use 220-volt electricity.
Unless your appliance is dual voltage, you need to use a "converter" or a "transformer" to change the 220-volt electricity into 110-volt electricity in order to use a 110-volt appliance.
If your appliance is dual voltage, you can switch it to work on 220-volts, without a transformer or converter.

HOWEVER

Desktop units have a selector switch for 110 / 220 volts., which is done away with in the case of laptop one's which sense the input voltage and regulate accordingly.

I think your main concern is just that you have an adapter for the plug to go into the wall outlet.

Hope that helps :)
